Final Fantasy VII HD Mod for Steam - where to download? I know there is a thread here about this very topic, but no one seems to be responding to it. I found Evil Shinobi's HD mod for FF7 and really wanna play FF7 with the mod installed. A let's play "Quick Review" for FF7 and the Reunion Mod created for Final Fantasy 7 PC Steam version. Originally I had more footage but it was lost. This one video is good enough to tell the FF7 The Reunion is compatible with Steam and doesn't break anything. However, the 60FPS mod is still WIP. The next release does offer a better 60FPS mod (true 60FPS animations) and get rid of most bugs. It will also come with a sound fix which restores a lot of functions the psx version has but the PC version doesn't. The most useful mod is certainly the Reunion mod. The first good thing is the new retranslation which gives a lot more sense to the story. The second good thing is that DLPB does use models which are as close as possible to the original character design (I can tell, because I made most of them). The Remako HD Graphics Mod is a mod that completely revamps the pre-rendered backgrounds of the classic JRPG Final Fantasy VII. All of the backgrounds now have 4 times the resolution of the original. I'm not sure exactly what fixed it, but after re-installing all mods about 4 times, I changed windows custom DPI scaling to 100%, re-installed the steam version of FF7, re-copied that version into another folder, and then one by one got the latest version of several mod tools included in the "Modding FF7 Setup Files" download. Check out forums.qhimm.com and look specifically for the 7th Heaven mods or the Reunion. Unfortunately right now they can't be used together, but they are currently working on fixing that. With 7th Heaven, you get updated mods for graphics, gameplay, music and more in a much easier and more effective fashion than Bootleg ever had. Check out a whole bunch of Final Fantasy mods that improve, enhance, and just plain make all the older versions of these classic JRPGs just a little bit better on PC.
